If there was any doubt – it’s official now: Keyshia Cole and son’s father Niko Khale have called it quits. And it appears the exes are involved in a social media showdown to prove they are over one another.
So let’s take back to last month when Keyshia hopped on social media to show off her hickey on her neck via her IG Stories. In the caption, she asked “bae” to make it darker next time.
And she popped off on the haters:
It was assumed Keyshia, 39, and Niko, 24, reunited, but now it seems her post was a subliminal for her ex. Mind you, it was reported Keyshia & Niko called it quits in October 2020. Rumors about a breakup had been swirling since June 2020.
Well, her hickey posts seems to have been more of a "I've already moved on post" verses a "I reunited with my man" post.
Now, Niko has a new chick named Ariel (aka Ari) on his arm and he introduced her as his “other half” on Instagram over the weekend:
”Oh, and let me properly introduce my other half. Her name is Ariel, like the mermaid. She’s the universe in human form,” he wrote in the caption.
He also shared this video with his new boo:
Ari shared the same photo with the caption:
”What’s understood doesn’t need to be explained, but best believe our story will be told. Real recognize real & you King, are the realest. Nothing could ever compare to the love we share. It’s only up from here #STUCK #MakeItLastForever,” she wrote.
Niko hopped in the comments to respond, “Through thick & thin. Excited to grow with you. You deserve the world Queen.”
You’ll notice, Niko’s new chick’s IG handle is @ari.khale – adding his last name as her own with no ring.

After Niko and Ari shared their official coupledom announcement post, the “Love” singer shared a picture of herself with her “headlights” on with the caption, “Can’t wait to get back to the beach!!! Can’t wait to go on baecation.”
We love Keyshia around these parts, so we hate to see her going out bad like this.
Now, Keyshia and Niko have to figure out a workable co-parenting relationship following their breakup. The former couple welcomed a son, Tobias Khale, in August 2019. Keyshia also is the mother of her 11-year-old son Daniel Gibson Jr., whom she shares with former NBA baller Daniel "Booby" Gibson.
