Now, he’s getting dragged for another post involving MJ and legendary Quincy Jones.
The super producer put up a meme that was intended to motivate his followers, but it backfired. The post claims award winning producer Quincy Jones didn’t get his big break until he was 50 years old after he produced MJ’s classic 1982 album, Thriller.
”Quincy Jones started producing when he was a teenager but didn’t get his big hit ‘Thriller’ until he was 50 years old…You never know when your big break will come so never give up!, the meme said.
Social media didn’t waste any time to call him out over the meme, schooling him on Quincy’s accomplishments. Before Quincy produced Thriller, the composer/arranger/producer had won 11 Grammy Awards. He won the prestigious awards for both his solo creations as well as collaborations with jazz musicians - like Count Basie - and singer Lena Horne.

Timbaland is talking about THIS Quincy Jones?
The man who had such an airtight reputation, he was handpicked by Sinatra as arranger and musical director in the 50s and 60s.
