Meghan Markle and Prince Harry dropped in on Queen Elizabeth unannounced on their way to Harry’s Invictus Games in the Netherlands.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left London for sunny California in March 2020 right before the COVID-19 lockdown was initiated. Their recent visit is the first time they’ve traveled to London together following racism claims against the British Royal Family made by Meghan. The duo also reportedly said they didn't feel comfortable returning now that their Royal Security has been yanked. And we all know the environment amongst the Brits can be a bit hostile when it comes to the Meg & Harry.
The happy couple trekked it to Windsor Castle to visit Harry’s 95-year-old grandmother ahead of her 96th birthday on the 21st, and amid an official report stating the Queen - who just recently battled Covid - will not be attendance at Sunday's Easter service.
BREAKING: A Sussex spokesperson confirms that, prior to arriving in The Hague for @InvictusGamesNL, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan stopped in the UK this morning to visit the Queen. It was a Windsor visit that their team recently revealed the duke "hoped to do".

The couple made a pit stop at Windsor Castle on their way to Harry’s fifth Invictus Games, which take place in the Dutch city of The Hague starting this weekend. They left their two young children, 2-year-old Archie and 10-month-old Lilibet, behind. The Queen still has not met Lilibet, who was given the Queen’s childhood nickname.
While this was Meghan’s first time back in U.K. since 2020, Prince Harry has made two visits since then. For his first visit, he attended his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral service in April 2021 and then again in July 2021 to unveil a statue of his late mother Princess Diana alongside older brother Prince William.
According to reports, Meg & Harry will make their rounds at the Invictus Games, which is the international sports competition founded by Harry for wounded service members and veterans, over several days.

You’ll recall, the former “Suits” actress joined Harry in 2017 at the Toronto Games, which marked the couple’s first public appearance. And chick STILL looks amazing, despite the tumultuous times.
Sweet!
