Jay-Z has been heavy in these streets for the NBA’s play-in tournament.
After hitting up the Barclays Center to watch the Brooklyn Nets defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers, Jay-Z made his way to Atlanta to watch Trae Young and the Hawks go head-to-head against the Charlotte Hornets at the State Farm Arena.
The Hawks defeated the Hornets, 132-103, with Hov, Nelly, Quavo, and Swizz Beatz looking on courtside.
After the game, Hawks baller Trae Young shared with the press how exciting it was to play in front of so many celebs, specifically Jay-Z. He ended the night with 24 points, 10 assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block.

“It was crazy,” he said. “I mean, everybody that was in the building. There’s always a lot of people that show up and things like that, but Hov in the building, that was pretty cool. It’s fun. Putting on a show, and then coming out with the win is the most important thing, though.”
Nice. Check out more celebs at the game below:

Hornets player Miles Bridges apologized for throwing his mouthpiece, which hit a young fan, after he was ejected from the game. Dude def tried to fight the ref, and that's an immediate ejection. As he was leaving, he angrily threw his mouthpiece at a heckling fan, striking the young fan in the first row. The mouthpiece bounced off the left side of her head.
Somebody get me in contact with the young lady. That’s unacceptable. https://t.co/MlLZjMgcBF

Star Pelican player Zion Williamson did not play, however, he did do some 360 dunking on the court before the game:

Sheesh.
The former No. 1 overall pick out of Duke, hasn’t played at all in the 2021-22 season after he suffered a foot fracture in the preseason. And the fans are getting antsy and a bit heated about it all.
The Pelicans will square off against the Los Angeles Clippers for the final playoff spot in the West Friday night. Who you got?!
