Awkwaaaard. Maybe switching to "Love & Marriage: DC" was a good move for Monique & Chris Samuels so they could focus more on strengthening the communication in their marriage. Because based on the exclusive clip we just received from tomorrow's episode, they DO NOT see eye to eye. Watch inside.
Now that the Samuels have taken their talents - meaning their super cute family - over to OWN from Bravo's "Real Housewives of Potomac", we've been getting an even deeper peek into their 10-year marriage.
On this premiere season of "Love & Marriage: DC," Chris and Monique are opening up about the issues in their marriage we might not have noticed previously - and that's the communication issues.
While The Samuels are discussing their trip to Kenya, things got heated and hella awkward when Monique didn't feel like Chris was being open and vulnerable with her. When he seemingly refused to understand where she was coming from, the ultimate silent treatment was enacted and the cameras were told they could leave, since Monique wasn't feeling their discussion anymore. AT ALL. The visible frustration seems to be happening a lot with these two.

Hopefully we'll see that Monique & Chris have worked through some things on the trip, which looked amazing btw.
