One GOP candidate is making a huge splash on the political scene with his new campaign ad. AR-15 rifles and Ku Klux Klan hoods aren’t usually used in political ads, however, Jerone Davison - a Black Republican running for Congress - is embracing these unconventional tactics. Watch the ad inside…
A Black GOP congressional candidate from Arizona has tongues wagging after releasing his campaign ad where he vows to fully support the Second Amendment and is ready to go to war against “Democrats in Klan hoods” with an AR-15.
Jerone Davison - a former Oakland Raiders running back - is campaigning to represent Arizona’s 4th Congressional District. His slogan? “Make Rifles Great Again.” Very Trump-like and extremely problematic considering the uptick in mass shooting across the nation using these high-powered weapons.
In the ad, you see people dressed in white hoods and robes with Donkey patches printed on the front, charging his home as he looks on - strapped with an AR-15 rifle.
“Democrats like to say that no one needs an AR-15 for self-defense,” Davison said in the campaign ad. “That no one could possibly need all 30 rounds. But when this rifle is the only thing standing between your family and a dozen angry Democrats in Klan hoods, you just might need that semi-automatic and all 30 rounds.”

Once he brandishes the gun, the Klansmen turn and make a run for it. At the end, the clip shows a white hood floating in a pool. He captioned the video on Twitter, "Make Rifles Great Again.”

The level of gaslighting is unmatched.
Davison explained why he chose to use the KKK in his ad, tweeting, "I was born in 1970 in Mississippi. When the KKK came to town, I always felt safe, because my father had rifles to protect us. This video is a cinematic depiction of a situation I faced growing up. Racist white liberals love to tell me that my LIVED EXPERIENCE didn’t happen!"

Peep the mixed reactions:
This is, without a doubt, the greatest campaign ad I’ve ever seen!
I also love how it’s historically accurate, with the Democrat Klan members.
I definitely back this man! Jerone Davison for Congress! https://t.co/zqNrNCbBxB

White nationalist Nick Fuentes says this Jerone Davison campaign ad is "a blood libel against the white race": "Is this guy gonna kill me? Does he consider me a white racist? Is he gonna kill Jared Taylor? Is he gonna kill Sam Francis? Is he gonna kill Donald Trump?" https://t.co/IFlJ9hCCDH pic.twitter.com/eCPxwwjU4y

“A dozen angry Democrats in klan hoods.”
You can’t even make this stuff up anymore.
The gaslighting, lies, projection, and ignorance are off the charts.
Jerone Davison is insane.
Arizona is a beautiful, magical state, but wtaf is going on out there?

I can tell Congressional candidate Jerone Davison, hasn’t brushed up on history in quite some time. There’s far too many nut-jobs entering politics, and it’s up to us citizens to ensure the wrong ones doesn’t get elected. #GOTV pic.twitter.com/hQWpfCXGDn

After lying for years that it really was interested in minority outreach, the GOP establishment is about to get its minds blown by the fact new minorities coming to the party in spite of them are going to be even more radicalized than their typical white base. https://t.co/XhXHzkee0U

Donald Trump's presidency normalized hyperbole and absurdity in political advertising.
And that alone may stand as his greatest contribution to the world. https://t.co/6U0ZiiVHIr

Davison - who claims to be a pastor - posted the ad two days after a domestic terrorist used an assault rifle in a mass shooting that killed seven people at an Independence Day parade in Highland Park, Illinois.
