Golden State Warriors baller Steph Curry was tapped to host this year’s ESPY Awards and he did not disappoint. Watch the NBA Finals MVP roast and troll LeBron James, the Lakers, the Boston Celtics, plus see rapper Lil Wayne and his son Kameron (whom he shares with Lauren London) on the red carpet inside...
Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry hosted the 2022 ESPYs and wanted all the comedic smoke!
The NBA Finals MVP, who won his fourth NBA title last month, threw jabs at some of sports top players and teams during ESPN’s annual awards show held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Right off the jump, he went IN on Los Angeles Lakers star and former ESPYs host LeBron James.
"I'm the second NBA player to host this award show, which is kind of crazy to think about," Steph said. "LeBron James, he hosted this award show back in 2007, after losing in the NBA Finals," he said before taking a sip from his drink. "So yes, you guessed it, this feels better, this feels better."
Oop! Watch the clip below:

The Baby Face Assassin also wanted smoked with the Lakers. After paying homage to the the Los Angeles Rams for clinching the NFL championship, he popped off on the Lakers.
“It was so inspiring watching y’all [the Rams] play, watching y’all win a Super Bowl, watching y’all celebrate. It’s just inspiring to see that strategy of buying old superstars pay off for a local team around here,” he teased.
L-O-L.

He didn’t stop there. He also fired shots at the Boston Celtics and comedian Kevin Hart gave him guidance:
”I'm your host Stephen Curry. Proud husband of Ayesha Curry. Proud son of Dell Curry. Proud daddy of... The Boston Celtics” - OMG! We can't.

ZERO chill.
Not to be forgotten, the four-time NBA champion stood alongside WNBA superstars Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins-Smith to raise awareness of WNBA star Brittney Griner's case. As you know, BG is currently on trial in Russia after she was detained for allegedly having vape cartridges in her luggage containing hash oil.
”She's one of us, the team of athletes in this room tonight and all over the world. A team that has nothing to do with politics or global conflict,” he said.

Not only did Steph have jokes, he also copped awards! THREE to be exact. He won the ESPY for the Best NBA Player of the Year and for Best Record-Breaking Performance, which he won for breaking Ray Allen’s award for most 3-pointers in league history. He also won Best Team with his Warriors teammates. Congrats!
Before getting to his hosting duties and scooping up awards, Steph hit the carpet with his wife, Ayesha Curry, and two daughters, Riley and Ryan Curry:
