Nick Cannon talks about his multi-million dollar annual child support bill after a report speculated on the total amount he dishes out in a year. Meanwhile, the soon-to-be father-of-12 is trending on social media after the world population reached 8 billion. You already know why. Details inside….
Nick Cannon shuts down alleged child support reports that revealed the entertainer is paying about $3 million annually in child support for his 11 kids (with 1 on the way).
The Sun published a report in which Goldie Schon, a California practicing family law attorney and legal expert, claimed that the “Masked Singer” host is paying somewhere in the neighborhood of $3 million in child support for his 11 children. The 42-year-old dad quickly clapped back at the report, letting folks know he pays WAY more than that.
"I definitely spend a lot more than that on my children every year," the King of Maternity shoots told Neighborhood Talk on Friday.
“I don’t plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system of child,” he continued.
Just a few days ago, Nick welcomed his 11th child, which is also his fourth baby born this year. He and DJ Abby De La Rosa welcomed a baby girl, their third child together, whom they named Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon. Baby #12 is set to be born in December. That baby’s mother is “Wild ’N Out” girl Alyssa Scott, who lost her son, Zen, with Nick last December.
The “Wild ’N Out” honcho has two children, twins Monroe & Moroccan, with his ex-wife Mariah Carey. He has three children with his ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell, son Golden, daughter Powerful Queen, and a son Rise Messiah, who was born in September. Nick shares three children with Abby De La Rosa, including twins Zillion and Zion, and their newborn daughter, Beautiful.
The Raw & B rapper is also the father of son Legendary with “Wild N’ Out” girl Bre Tiesi, as well as daughter Onyx, with video vixen Lanisha Cole. “Wild ’N Out” girl Alyssa Scott is currently pregnant with Nick’s 12th child after losing their son, Zen, last December.
Nick previously explained to Men's Health magazine in June about how he manages fatherhood:
“Contrary to popular belief, I’m probably engaged throughout my children’s day, more often than the average adult can be. If I’m not physically in the same city with my kids, I’m talking to them before they go to school via FaceTime and stuff. And then when I am [in the same city, I’m] driving my kids to school, like, making sure I pick ’em up.”
He continued, “I’ve seen where people believe a traditional household works, and [yet] there’s a lot of toxicity in that setting. It’s not about what society deems is right. It’s like, what makes it right for you? What brings your happiness? What allows you to have joy and how you define family? We all define family in so many different ways.”
As his family tree continues to grow, social media users has been begging him to STOP making babies. The world’s population just reached 8 billion people and folks are blaming it on Nick and his baby shenanigans, causing the entertainer to trend on social media. Peep the tweets:
