Marsai Martin strutted her stuff in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Vol. 4 Show, and people are in their feelings about it. See their reactions inside…
Rihanna’s annual Savage X Fenty fashion show premiered on November 9th on Prime Video, and, per usual, it did NOT disappoint.
The runway was filled with fire lingerie pieces, modeled by celebrities, influencers, and models who actually look like us because Rihanna knows representation matters. And we STAN.
”black-ish” actress Marsai Martin ripped the runway for RiRi, rocking a halter-style leopard print jumpsuit paired with satin pink pointed-toe heels to complete the fierce look.

Go AWF, Marsai!
The 18-year-old stunner, who celebrated her birthday in August, also slayed the red carpet:
Just gorge.
While we think Marsai looked AMAZING, others felt she looked “too grown” for their liking:
Marsai acting too grown and I say that because the attention it gets the mindset of an 18 year old cannot manage. She looks good af tho in that jumpsuit.

Yea I know it’s not my place (this should be my que to stop typing), but I always felt weird about Marsai like they making her be too grown and it’s not cute. https://t.co/4vm2eZUkFR

Thank you, there is nothing sexy about an 18 year old she is still a child.

And I know Marsai wanted to do but it was up for the adults around her to say no given the show was full of GROWN ASS MEN and abuser. Or for Rihanna to not even ask.

Despite some Twitter users having issues with the young actress being “too grown,” others felt she didn’t do anything wrong:
I understand people might feel a way about Marsai being ‘too grown’ but 18 year olds deserve to be able to step into their womanhood and sexuality without it being a debate. She’s not a little girl anymore and y’all need to get over that.

I’m glad I missed the discourse on Marsai Martin being “too grown” my boo is grown and she’s stunning

I hate what grown adults are doing to these young women, Marsai Martin and Skai Jackson to be exact

marsai martin is really as classy as it gets. she does ONEEEEE fashion show (fully clothed btw) with a teeny bit of cleavage n yall scream she too grown?! pleaseee. the think pieces are exhausting

I’m tired of black women blaming young black girls for grown men sexualizing them. Marsai Martin outfit for the fashion show was covered up like a turtle neck compared to others but bc she got the body it’s wrong? Get on those men you are scared will think things and not on her

By the way...
The LITTLE actress just announced her first-ever digital fashion collection, which she designed to encourage people to spread their wings.
"IT’S HERE! My first ever digital fashion collection from me, to you," Marsai captioned. "I designed this collection with my little boss girl genie to encourage you to spread your wings and empower you even beyond the physical world. Go cop yours now at the link in my story (it’s free hehe)! Customize your pieces in the @Genies Studio app!"
Loves it!
