Lil Tjay & Ice Spice Deny Dating Rumors Despite Lavish $150K Richard Mille Watch Gift

File this in the “must be nice” files! Rapper Ice Spice received a $150,000 Richard Mille watch from fellow rapper Lil Tjay on Valentine's Day, sparking dating rumors. However, they claim to just be "friends." More inside...

Apparently, gifting someone a $150,000 Richard Mille watch for Valentine’s Day is just a friendly gesture.

On Valentine's Day, Lil Tjay gifted Ice Spice with a lavish $150,000 Richard Mille watch. According to Benny Da Jeweler, a prominent New York City jewelry dealer, Lil Tjay purchased a stunning Richard Mille wristwatch worth a whopping $150,000 for Ice Spice. The watch is an RM-05 rose gold timepiece with a white wristband.

“We got a gift here from my brother, TJay," said Benny Da Jeweler in the video below. "This is a six-figure Richard Mille RM-05 Rose Gold with a white band. Ice Spice, come pick up your gift."

Watch the unboxing below:

Despite the expensive gift, the rappers' “relationship” is purely platonic, and they are just good friends.

Sources close to Ice Spice informed TMZ Hip Hop that, despite dating rumors, there is no romantic relationship between the Bronx raptress and the Bronx rapper. However, Lil Tjay still wanted to commemorate their collaborative hit "Gangsta Boo" charting on the Billboard Hot 100 and got her a heartfelt gift.

At the beginning of this year, Lil Tjay, who is signed to Columbia Records, and Ice Spice, who inked a deal with 10K Projects and Capitol Records last year, collaborated on the song "Gangsta Boo," which samples Diddy's 2002 hit "I Need a Girl Pt. 2," featuring Mario Winans, Ginuwine, and Loon. The track appears on Ice Spice's latest project, Like..?

Lil Tjay and Ice Spice intended to film the music video for the track in mid-January. However, Tjay's arrest for gun possession at the New York City shoot led to charges against him, and the plan was eventually scrapped. In lieu of "Gangsta Boo," Ice Spice opted to shoot the music video for her song "In Ha Mood." Watch police pick up Lil Tjay on the music video set below:

Tjay was arrested after he was released from a hospital following a shooting in the second half of 2022.

In August of 2022, Lil Tjay marked his return to the music scene with the release of "Beat the Odds." The title of the song holds significant meaning as the 21-year-old rapper's rise to fame was suddenly halted after he miraculously survived a near-fatal attack. According to reports, the “In My Head” rapper was shot seven times, including once in the lung and multiple times in the neck and chest, and underwent extensive treatment for his injuries. Authorities said the shooting was a botched robbery attempt.

While recovering in the hospital, he found inspiration for his new song and worked on it during his healing process.

As for Tjay and Ice Spice, some fans speculate that their publicized collaborations and extravagant gifts are simply for publicity. What are your thoughts?
