Deets on the “Real Housewives of Miami” star’s love life inside…
Larsa Pippen has been making headlines lately for her relationship with Marcus Jordan, the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan. During a recent interview on the "Tamron Hall Show," Larsa opened up about her controversial relationship and shared some surprising insights into Michael Jordan's reaction to their romance.
Not only is the couple's age difference controversial, but people have criticized Larsa for dating the child of someone her ex-husband doesn't get along with. Rumors of a relationship began last September, and at that time, Larsa shared that they were "just friends." She confirmed their coupledom on Valentine's Day this year, making it known that they are indeed a couple.
“The Real Housewives of Miami” star, who is 48 and a mother-of-four, began by describing how she and Marcus Jordan, who is 32, first met. Many believed she knew Marcus since he was born since her ex-husband, Scottie Pippen, and Marcus’ dad, Michael Jordan, were longtime teammates. She claims that’s not true.
“We literally just met at a party four years ago," she said. "And we were just friends… We both kind of grew up from, you know, both from Chicago. So I feel like we have a lot in common, like a lot of common ground. We have everything in common."
When asked about their significant age difference, Larsa was quick to dismiss any concerns. "I don't really view age as you know, you're mature, you're immature. I don't feel like that determines if you're mature or not," she explained. "When you're an adult, I think your parents just want to see you happy."
So, what exactly does Michael Jordan think about it all?
Larsa revealed that she has recently been spending time with Michael Jordan and his ex-wife Juanita Vanoy Jordan. "I mean, I've recently been hanging out with them," she said. "But I don't really want to talk about them. I feel like it's not about, you know, my parents or his parents. They're all happy, our whole family’s fine."
We wonder what her children think about her new relationship, especially her older sons.
The most surprising revelation of the interview came when Larsa shared MJ's apparent approval of her relationship with his son.
“I feel like it's more about, like, where I am, where he is. I feel like we're in a great place. We motivate each other. We're really happy being together and I feel like that's the most important thing.” She continued, “When you're an adult, I think your parents just want to see you happy. You know, my parents want to see me happy, his parents want to see him happy. I feel like we're great. Yeah, I feel like we've you know, we've spent holidays together and it's good. We're in a great place.”
Being the true journalist she is, Tamron Hall was not sugarcoating any of her questions. When she asked Larsa if she and Marcus are in love, the reality star responded, “Umm…I think so. We’re in a really good place.”

Despite accusations of being "fake" for not having her kids on the show, Larsa remains focused on her own career and her own happiness. "It's my thing. It's my career, not theirs," she said of her children's involvement in the show. "I feel like a lot of times people think ‘Oh, well put your kids on there or put Marcus on the show.’ I wasn't even dating him last season."
