Bobby Brown, who left the bedside of Bobbi Kristina to fulfill his touring obligations, thrilled an audience at the Verizon Theatre in Dallas, Texas, over the weekend, when he told them, "Bobbi is awake," adding "she is watching me." You'll recall that BK has been in a comatose state since late January.
While we aren't certain that Bobby meant for his comments to be taken "literally", news about the clip went viral as fans around the world are deeply invested in Bobbi Kristina's wellness.
Speculation about Bobbi's "improving" health were further fueled after Bobby's sister Tina posted a Facebook message claiming Bobbi Kris was off life support AND out of her coma.
But there's an interesting twist to the "good" news (which shows how deeply divided the Houstons/Browns are). In fact, the Houston family disputes what has been said by Bobby and the Browns.
The Houston's told TMZ that Bobbi Kris is "... in the exact same condition she was in when she went into the facility." They say there is "minimal" reaction (e.g. an occasional eye blink). , but that's it. ABC News even quoted Cissy Houston thanking fans for their prayers, but adding that there's little hope.
