Kelly Rowland was looking oh so fabulous as she hosted an event for baby detergent Dreft in NYC. Peep her shots and find out why Amber Rose pops off so much on social media and her thoughts on making the word “b*tch” positive when you go inside….
New mom and singer Kelly Rowland is heavy on the promo scene in NYC. The YBF chick hosted a luncheon for baby detergent Dreft’s #Amazinghood campaign at at Gansevoort Park Avenue yesterday. And she looked beautiful, per usual.
The proud mom, who has a new singing competition show “Chasing Destiny” coming to BET, has partnered up with the baby laundry detergent giant to celebrate the amazing moments and stages of her son Baby Titan’s babyhood as he goes from a newborn to an active baby.
The braided “Motivation” singer and her 6-month-old baby boy star in a brand new commercial for Dreft where it shows Kelly in full mommy-mode with a few adorable moments shared with her son. Check it HERE, if you missed.
Congrats to Kelly on her new ventures!
On the daytime tv circuit....
Amber Rose joined the ladies of “The Real” today to chop it up about what’s going on in her busy life, including her upcoming film Sister Code and her new book "How to Be A Bad B*tch." On the flip side, she also talked about why she doesn't shy away from poppin' off if need be.
While chatting with the ladies, the estranged wife of Wiz Khalifa revealed the reason she claps back at folks on social media is because, when she was a young girl in Philly, you either clapped back or you fought. And since she said she doesn’t want to fight, she uses her words as weapons.
Later, she dished on her upcoming book, How to Be A Bad B*tch, where she said she’s taking the term “b*tch” from a negative connotation to something positive. The budding actress spilled a few deets on her upcoming women's empowerment walk called "Amber Rose Slut Walk," to rally for women's rights. It's coming to L.A. this summer. She also addressed double standards women face today, such as slut shaming.
Below are the highlights:
Tamar Braxton: Alright, now Ms. Rose, we all have loved you for so long.
Amber Rose: Aww.
Tamar Braxton: But lately, honey, you have caught my attention and everyone's attention as the reigning queen of the claps back. Okay! Enjoy it!
[The Real hosts and audience claps.]
Amber Rose: You know what, I'm not even that girl, though. In Philly, if you don't clap back, you gotta fight. And I really never wanted to fight, so I just ... [snaps her fingers] … I was quick with it. You know what I mean?
Loni Love: Now Amber, you have a new book coming out later this year. It's a how-to manual for standing up for yourself. What can we learn from the book?
Amber Rose: Well, my book is called How to Be a Bad Bitch.
[The Real audience laughs.]
Amber Rose: Thank you. And I'm taking the word back and making it positive. It's really just being well-rounded … your finances, if you're a mom, you’re an amazing mom, you take care of your household. It's like whatever a man can do, we can do it also!
Tamar Braxton: How about that.
Afterwards, she joined the ladies for a little game of “Butt What!” Of course.
