In a new interview with ET, former "Saved By The Bell" star Lark Voorhies speaks out for the first time since her mom filed a restraining order against her husband. Watch the shocking and unsettling interview inside....
A few weeks ago, we revealed to you that former child star Lark Voorhies married admitted gang member Jimmie Green in a quickie Las Vegas wedding. Since that revelation, Lark's mom has gone on to file a restraining order against Lark's new husband, claiming he'd become aggressive towards her. In spite of the wedding and the legal issues, we hadn't heard from Lark - until now.
In an interview with ET, which might make you cringe, she sits down with Kevin Frazier and her husband husband of three months (its second marriage) for their first joint interview.
She told ET, "He's not [taking advantage of me].....We're selectively together for all the right reasons."
When asked specifically about being bi-polar (a diagnosis her mom revealed) Lark admits to battling clinical depression after her first marriage, but shoots down the bi-polar diagnosis. "I've always been mentally healthy," Sadly....that's not necessarily what we see during the interview.
What about the restraining order? Jimmie claims he's never been violent towards Lark's mom, but when pressed by Kevin about being "aggressive" towards her, he admits to being forceful with his words.
And if you're wondering if Jimmie is a gold-digger, he told ET, "We're the same as any other couple out there that's in love and trying to accomplish business together." He says he's helping her become a singer, "It's not a scam or a way to get money."
