The Serena Williams vs. Maria Sharapova rivalry continued when the tennis players met at Flushing Meadows for the US Open. Rena defeated the Russian tennis player - 6-1, 6-1 - in just 59 minutes to win her first-round match like the ultimate tennis star that she is. Serena now holds a 20-2 record against Sharapova, so it's really not much of a rivalry if we're talking stats.
But, the media loves covering this "feud," often times trying to paint Sharapova as the better player.
During the match, Serena's husband Alexis Ohanian was in the stands cheering his wife on, per usual. And he made sure to fire shots at Sharapova in a subtle, yet bold way.
After Rena secured the win, the Reddit co-founder opened up his jacket to reveal a D.A.R.E. t-shirt underneath. We GAG! D.A.R.E. was the drug campaign aimed at elementary school students after the "war on drugs" was launched in the 80s.
He was clearly trolling Sharapova, who got suspended in 2016 for testing postive for banned substance meldonium after the Australian Open. Bloop!
