New baby alert!
Congratulations are in order for Amber Rose and her boyfriend Alexander “A.E.” Edwards! The happy couple welcomed their baby boy yesterday. Hours after his arrival, the couple shared the exciting news on Instagram.
A.E. hopped on IG, posting a picture of himself cuddling with his new bundle of joy after Amber shared videos while she was in labor on her IG Stories. In his supwer sweet caption, A.E. revealed the baby’s name: Slash Electric Alexander Edwards.
“Slash Electric Alexander Edwards.. the world is urs now thank u @amberrose for loving me so much that u put ur body thru it 2 bring my sun in2 the world,” he captioned. “I could never be as strong as u. Slash a Rockstar”
Baby Slash is the couple’s first child together. The Slut Walk creator is also mom to her 6-year-old son, Sebastian Thomaz, whom she shares with her ex-husband/rapper Wiz Khalifa.
Just a few days ago, Amber showed off her growing belly with the caption, "Yes I’m still Pregnant."
She also shared a video of her baby bump at the 9-month mark:
"Big Boy! 9 months! Almost there! I Love you @ae4president Thank you for this Wonderful Gift! P.S I’m literally out of breath just standing up #LibraBaby," she captioned.
In August, Amber announced she was canceling her annual Slut Walk this year to protect her "energy and peace" while she was carrying her son. She said she was removing all negativity in her life - including fake friends - to keep on a positive wave.
"I’m so happy God has blessed me with a New Baby and an Amazing Man to help me through all the turmoil," she said. "That’s why I’ve been laying so low during this pregnancy. No Toxicity will be tolerated over here only Positive vibes. F**k fake friends and their weirdo sh*t. I’d rather just have my family and my team," she wrote on Instagram.
Amber, 35, and A.E., 32, announced they were expecting back in April:
"@ae4president and I are SUPER excited to announce that we have a Sweet little Baby Boy on the way!," Amber captioned. "P.S Sebastian is soooooo Happy to be a big brother!"
A.E. shared the same picture with the caption, "Even when it’s dark.. my SON will shine," A.E. captioned. "Thank u baby 4 my greatest gift. shit wild! I love you I can’t wait to thug it out w my baby boy. & baby boy, I promise I won’t get mad if ur first words r “where the bitches @?” ( jokinggg-no hyper-masculinity)"
