Fabolous and Emily B have been together for more than a decade. They met at an event back in 2002, fell in love, had some babies (4-year-old Jonas & 7-year-old Johan) and have been together ever since. They now share two sons together and Emily is the mother of her daughter Taina from a previous relationship.
Everyone knew they were together, but if you have been following Fab on socials since he first joined, you hardly ever seen pics of Em on his timelines. Until now.
These days, the “Into You” rapper has been posting up the former “Love & Hip Hop” star on his Instagram timeline damn near every day with captions about love and relationships, seemingly making up for years of keeping her under wraps on his socials.
The couple recently hit up Art Basel in Miami together and Fab shared flicks from the weekend:
"Happiness is the real rich..Health is the real wealth..Love is the real cool..Peace of mind is the real bag!! #STUDIO23 #MIAMI," he captioned.
The recent postings of Fab and his lady come after their whole domestic violence situation was put on blast when a video of Fab threatening to shoot Em and her father in March 2018. It's reported the "Can't Let You" rapper knocked Emily's two front teeth out and punched her in the face several times.
A grand jury in New Jersey indicted the rapper on 1 count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, 2 counts of threatening to kill and 1 count of possession of a weapon (a pair of scissors) in October 2018. To avoid jail time, Fab copped a plea deal and the New Jersey prosecutors will dismiss the his charges as long as he stays out of trouble for a year and completes a pretrial intervention program.
During an interview on HOT 97's "Ebro In The Morning," Fab addressed the domestic violence situation for the first time. He really didn't explain any details about the brutal attack and said he made the decision to handle the situation "internally."
"From the video point it looks crazy. I'm not trying to excuse myself, it was really more of, like, an internal thing with us going through the motion of what was happening. ... Our emotions and a lot of things that was building up with our relationship and our family," he shared.
Fab then apologized...but not to Emily though.
"I apologize for coming across in the light I wouldn't want to be represented in," he said. "I don't know anything else...people make their opinions. All I can I do is apologize for being in a light that's not showing my best self."
We're not even shocked at this point.
