This isn’t the news Lori Harvey wanted to receive on her 23rd birthday. She has officially been charged in that hit-and-run she was involved in a few months ago. More inside….
Lori Harvey turns 23 today and she received some news that’s no where near a “gift” to celebrate.
As you know, Lori – Steve & Marjorie Harvey’s daughter – has been living it up in Montego Bay, Jamaica with her man Future and her friends, including Jordyn Woods, G Herbo, his girlfriend Taina Williams, and Teyana Taylor to celebrate her birthday. Chick had a bomb weekend but woke up to bad news this morning.
According to TMZ, Lori has been charged in the hit-and-run situation she was involved in back in October. Oh yeah, and she attempted to flee the scene before cops got there, but nope.
The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office has reportedly charged Lori with one count of resisting/delaying/obstructing a peace officer, and one count of hit and run resulting in property damage. Luckily for her, they’re both misdemeanors and not felonies.
Here’s what happened…
Lori was cruising around in her Mercedes Benz G-Class SUV in LA when she crashed into another car, which resulted in her flipping her car while driving. A witness on the scene said Lori had been texting and driving. Lori's SUV had a busted windshield and airbags deployed, and had to be towed away from the scene. (You can see the pictures HERE).
The driver of the other car pulled her from her car, and she allegedly attempted to flee the scene. Police soon arrived at the crash and she reportedly began Face-Timing with her famous dad, Steve Harvey.
Lori was arrested on one count of misdemeanor hit-and-run and one count of delaying a police investigation. The watch commander at the Beverly Hills Police Department told OK! magazine, “She was arrested for the two charges and released on scene, not booked."
No alcohol was involved, and no one was injured, thankfully.
Maybe Lori thought she could pull off a hit and run but the cops basically said, NOT SO FAST. Bloop.
