This year’s Grammys was a huge night for Tyler, the Creator. The Odd Future leader took home his first ever Grammy for Best Rap Album for his musical offering, IGOR. During his acceptance speech, he thanked one of his biggest musical inspirations: Pharrell Williams – someone he has shown love to throughout his career.

“I really wanna thank Pharrell Williams,” Tyler said. “Because again growing up feeling left-of-center to a lot of stuff that I saw on TV, that man has allowed me to be comfortable with myself and has opened up doors that you guys could not imagine. Before I met him and when I met him. So thank you P.”

Following the shoutout, Pharrell - a 13-time Grammy winner - hopped on social media to congratulate Tyler on his win and reminded him that the hard work he put in brought the win into fruition:

"It happened because you saw it in your mind and no one could tell you different. The will is a powerful thing. Wolf Gang KTA. Congratulation," P tweeted.

Tyler's homie Jaden Smith also offered up a congratulatory message, jokingly calling Tyler his "boyfriend," something he has done in the past:

"My Boyfriend Just Won A Grammy," Jaden jokingly tweeted.

After copping his Grammy, Tyler also posted this tweet:
