Usher has us craving a Confessions 2 album again after coming thru (a quarter after 2) for Summer Walker's new visuals. Get into the video for their track "Come Thru" inside.
Call it nostalgia. Call it whatever you want. But "Come Thru" has been one of our fave tracks off Summer Walker's debut album Over It. And now, we've got visuals folks.
The ATL native tapped the man she probably grew up on to remake his "You Make Me Wanna" classic on her own album. Well, she was 1 when it came out, but we all know that My Way album has been on rotation for all R&B heads ever since. So, it's only right she brought fellow ATLien (and arguably one of the millenial kings of R&B) Usher on the visuals for their collabo. He even gave us some of the same choreo as the original video.
And, don't judge us, but Usher is looking kinda GOODT. Almost made us forget his community peen tribulations.
Directed by Lacey Duke and produced by London on da Track, the steamy new clip was shot at the notorious 285 Flea Market in Atlanta.
Jermaine Dupri, who co-wrote the original version, also pops up in the video. Check it:
The track is the second official single from Walker’s history-making debut, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 last fall and spent nine weeks in the Top 10, where it returns this week.
