Just days after her best friend Star Brim was arrested and charged in a massive New York gang sting, Cardi's facing more of her own legal problems. Details on her latest lawsuit over an alleged brutal attack inside.
The legal woes just keep coming. A security guard is now suing Cardi B. as she clams the "Clout" rapper spit on her, hit her in face and head, and hurled racial slurs and profanities at her while she was on the job back in February 2018.
Emani Ellis - who is African American - said she was at her security job inside a building on Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills when things went amuck. The Blast reports:
In February of 2018, she says Cardi B attacked her while on the job, by "violently, unlawfully, intentionally, suddenly and maliciously striking her about the head, face, and body, placing (her) in great for her life and physical well-being, and legally causing her to sustain injuries and damages."
She's suing for Assault & Battery, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress, and False Imprisonment.
The lawsuit doesn't specify what led to the altercation, if anything. But it does specify she's suing for damages due to alleged long term health issues caused by the attack.

...
In the lawsuit, the woman claims Cardi B's security guard also jumped into the situation and she claims she was injured during the melee including injuries to her body, and 'shock and injury to her nervous system.' Ellis claims she will now suffer from physical injuries resulting in "permanent disability."
Emani claims the alleged attack didn't stop there. She claims Cardi also used her star staus to get her fired from her job.
As for whether there's any video evidence from a building like this where one would think there would be surveillance footage available - nope. Emani claims folks worked together to destroy the evidence.
the security guard claims at some point everyone was involved in 'wilful destruction of evidence, namely having the recorded footage of the of the incident erased."
Emani is suing for an unspecified amount of damages over $25,000. She claims she will now have to endure, "future medical issues will require doctors, physicians, nurses, and hospital -- including medication MRI scan, x-rays etc."
Cardi's been back and forth to court over the last year and a half dealing with her indictment on multiple felonies due to a strip club brawl involving bartender Jade.
