Finally getting her shine! Jalaiah Harmon – the real-life YBF teen who created the “Renegade Dance" – is on cloud 9! Ellen DeGeneres gifted her $5,000 in cash, she performed during the NBA All-Star festivities, and she has been receiving several shoutouts from celebs, including Forever First Lady Michelle Obama! More inside…

Jalaiah Harmon is FINALLY getting the shine she deserves.

The 14-year-old created the uber popular “Renegade Dance" that has taken over our timelines via all social media apps. And not only that, kids (and grownups) are busting out Jalaiah’s signature dance moves set to the song “Lottery” by Atlanta rapper K Camp.

In September 2019, the Fayetteville, Georgia teen choreographed the viral dance moves at her home and posted a video of herself hitting the dance moves to Instagram and Funimate. Popular white TikTok influencers saw her video, recreated it and posted their renditions on TikTok WITHOUT giving Jalaiah her credit.

“I was happy when I saw my dance all over,” Jalaiah told The New York Times. “But I wanted credit for it.”

And now she’s getting it!

The classically trained dancer was invited on “The Ellen Show” to hit her signatures moves along with a big surprise. After hitting the stage to perform her “Renegade Dance” alongside Stephen “tWitch” Boss, the daytime TV host gifted Jalaiah with a jacket that read “The Original Renegade Dancer” on the back and her name on the front. Inside five pockets were $1,000 each, so the teen was gifted a total of $5,000 in cash. Nice!

Watch it below:

Before her daytime TV debut, Jalaiah was invited to perform her dance at the 2020 NBA All-Star game. But get this, the NBA had initially invited several white TikTok influencers to perform the dance as part of the festivities. When it was announced that these TikTok influencers would be performing and NOT Jalaiah, Black Twitter did its thing and the NBA offered Jalaiah to perform instead. Watch below:
