Welp, here we go again. After going public with their relationship in 2018 once model Anansa Sims announced she was pregnant with his baby boy, Matt Barnes and iconic model Beverly Johnson's daughter have called it quits. But the split is messier than we thought.
After we told you about their break up earlier this month, the parents of 1-year-old Ashton Barnes are beefing - hard.
Matt took to Instagram to make a passive aggressive post - his specialty - alluding to Ananasa keeping their son away from him:
Then, he followed up with a whole open letter, with the passive aggression on 100. He slid into his "enlightened" post that his ex Anansa is "free to put up old posts making it seem like she's in Chicago" and other jabs that make it seem like she is posting things to get under his skin. He also claimed she put a restraining order on him.
If any of this feels familiar, it's because he had similar beef with his ex-fiance and mother of his twin boys, Gloria Govan. They called off their wedding in 2010, and all hell broke lose with an almost 8-year custody battle and brawl between Matt and Gloria's new man (at the time) Derek Fisher.
Lots of insults and accusations were exchanged publicly between Matt and Gloria, and we gotta say, things are feeling really familiar.
