This year's Oscars brought out a few usual faces and some...surprises. More inside on the red carpet slayage.
The belle of the ball has arrived!
After winning the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for If Beale Street Could Talk last year, Regina King made her way to the 92nd annual Academy Awards to present to the Best Supporting Actor. The “Seven Seconds” actress exuded beauty and power in a pink Versace gown and Stuart Weitzman heels, styled by Wayman + Micah.
Perfection.
After she made her way on the carpet and hit the press room...
Winner Brad Pitt couldn't help himself...obviously.
Producer Spike Lee - who won his first Oscar last year - paid respects to late NBA icon Kobe Bryant by rocking a purple suit trimmed in gold with Kobe's jersey number, 24, embroidered on the front and back.
While on the carpet with his wife, Tonya Lewis Lee, he let his fashions speak for him, and this year's fit was almost like last year's but he def made it distinct with the Kobe tribute. He also shared how he decompresses, saying, "Well, the Knicks used to be good. Yankees gotta get their 28th world championship.”
RIP #Mamba.
We're not exactly sure how Blac Chyna got an invite to the Oscars, but chick was there. Invites are only issued to nominees, presenters (who were last year's winners) and performers. So we assume she was someone's plus 1.
The Lashed Boutique owner posed it up on the carpet in a black Dona Matoshi accentuated with purple details, plus a plunging neckline and high-leg slit.
Golden Globe nominated actor Billy Porter always makes a statement when he hits the carpet. The "POSE" actor rocked a custom Giles Deacon couture gown, custom Jimmy Choo shoes, and Atelier Swarovski jewels.
Oscar winner Mahershala Ali and his wife Amatus Sami-Karim served up coupledom vibes. Mahershala is gearing up to star as Blade in the upcoming reboot.
"Atlanta" star Zazie Beetz looked amazing in a black strapless Tom Ford dress. She was joined by her boyfriend/writer David Rysdahl.
Daytime talk show host Tamron Hall looked elegant as ever.
"Good Morning America" anchors Michael Strahan and Robin Roberts cut up on the red carpet.
Questlove was also in the mix. He said he's DJ’ing the show, the after show, the Governor’s Ball AND a secret afterparty. He's busy busy. After all that DJ'in he has to do something with Janet Jackson in the morning for the "Tonight Show," so he’s hopping on a plane first thing in the morning.
