Over the last few days, there have been reports that rapper Da Brat and CEO/Founder of Kaleidoscope Hair Products Jesseca “Judy” Dupart got engaged.
Word on the curb is that Da Brat and Judy have been supposedly secretly dating for a year and they were recently spotted together at the Krewe of Nefertiti Family Day parade in New Orleans - where Judy's from - on Sunday, February 9th. Here’s a flick:

OK, so they were spotted on a float together. Where did the engagement rumors come from? Days before the parade, Judy posted on her Instagram account that she’s engaged:
"I said “YES” LOVE has always been a BIG part of my life. And this one thing I am CERTAIN about ...... there’s been no other LOVE like this. There’s been nothing that’s been so SURE for me. LOVE IS IN THE AIR," Judy captioned a picture and video of her engagement ring.
Judy's bestie Supa Cent and several other celebs, including former "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Tokyo Vanity, "Love & Hip Hop" star Yandy Smith, former "Flavor of Love" star Deelishus, and singer Chrisette Michele offered up congratulatory messages:
Folks started putting two and two together, along with speaking with "sources" and made reports that Da Brat and Judy got engaged. However, Judy spoke out about the reports, claiming no one can spill her own tea without speaking to her:
"I'm tired of people trying to tell my story. ONLY I can do that...blogs fighting over who got tea first. Well chile I SPILL MY OWN TEA. This is MY LIFE. I'm posting a video tomorrow specifically about the engagement and the wedding," she wrote on Instagram that she has since deleted. In the caption, she wrote, "NAH RUN TELL THAT all the things I've been reading, all these blogs with the sh*ts and I wasn't gon address it but I see ima have to."
Welp. Guess we'll have to wait and see what she says in this video to find out what's really going on....
