Zendaya drips in diamonds – that were delivered with their own security team – during New York Fashion Week to celebrate her role as Bulgari’s new ambassador. More inside….
New York Fashion Week is in full effect and celebs are all over NYC to peep the latest fashions.
Zendaya hit the scene to celebrate at the Bvlgari B.zero1 Rock collection event held at Duggal Greenhouse as she was tapped as one of Bulgari's new ambassadors. Naomi Scott, EXO's Kris Wu, and Lily Aldridge are the brand's three other faces. We see the brand is making strides in diversity and inclusion, which is always a plus.
As the new face of the luxury jewelry brand, the “Euphoria” star naturally showed up to the event in expensive pieces by Bulgari, including the Cinemagia high jewelry necklace, which features a total of over 82 carats of sapphire and diamonds. And get this…
The 23-year-old actress (above, alongside Blvgari CEO Jean Christophe Babin) paired the exquisite necklace with an organza shirt dress and black pants by Rahul Mishra.
“For me, it’s one or the other: It’s either all about the jewels and it’s stacking and layering and very heavy, or it’s minimal and just there to complement the outfit," Zendaya told VOGUE backstage while shooting her new campaign for Bulgari, which is set in Rome. "It can go either way; it just depends on the look or the feeling behind what we’re doing. But it’s so funny to me how an earring can change everything. When you’re feeling like, ‘Oh, I need to dress this up,’ you put on a little set and you’re like, ‘Okayyy.’”
“We decided for the first time to have a man as the protagonist for this campaign and had gone through a roster of very complementary talents," Jean-Christophe Babin told Women's Wear Daily. "Zendaya is epitomizing the Generation-Z spirit, Naomi Scott is British and Indian—it’s this combination that is evidence of the diversity of Bulgari. It’s not a brand only for Americans or Chinese. It’s a global economy with global diversity and we are acknowledging the universal appeal of the brand."
Sis is racking up these ambassador roles. Around this time last year, Zendaya was became the newest and youngest global ambassador for Lancôme Beauty.
In the days leading up to NYFW, Daya has been spotted spending a lot of time with her "Euphoria" co-star Jacob Elordi when she's not hitting up fashion events. There are rumors the twosome could possibly be dating. THIS KISS surely had fuel to the fire.
Both Zendaya and Jacob attended Fendi's launch of Solar Dream.
