Meghan Markle, Prince Harry & baby Archie hopped on a private jet to Los Angeles before the U.S. and Canadian borders were shut. And now, they appear to be L.A. residents! Deets on their travel, peep Meghan’s new trailer for her Disney film and deets on her new cookbook inside…
Welcome (back) to America!
There was talk that the Duke & Duchess of Sussex would eventually move to Los Angeles... and it just happened. Chick married her prince and brought him right back home.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry fled their Vancouver residence for warmer weather. The couple, along with their 10-month-old son Archie, hopped on a private jet and traveled to Los Angeles before the borders between the U.S. and Canada were shut due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
They’ll reportedly be residing in their new home - close to Hollywood - on lockdown like the rest of us. An insider tells The Sun:
“Harry and Meghan have left Canada now for good. The borders were closing and flights were stopping. They had to get out," the source tells The Sun. “But this move was planned for some time. They realized Canada would not work out for various reasons and they want to be based in the Los Angeles area. They have a big support network there. It’s where their new team of Hollywood agents and PRs and business managers are based. Meghan has lots of friends there and, of course, her mum Doria," the source continues.
Grandma Doria will now get to spend a lot more time with her grandson, which we’re sure she’s ecstatic about. On the flip side, you all already know the Brits are pissed about it.
Dubbed Megxit 2, the royal family is reportedly “stunned” and horrified” that the couple made the move to the U.S.
Apparently, the royals thought they would consider going BACK to the UK to “help their relatives.”
Did anyone help them when the media was dragging Meghan literally everyday? Oh. Word has it Harry has made it clear that it was his idea to leave their Royal duties, mainly for the safety and protection of their baby.
A few days ago, it was revealed Harry’s father Prince Charles (71) tested positive for COVID-19. Queen Elizabeth and husband Prince Philip (both in their 90s) have self-isolated themselves to keep from getting the deadly virus.
News of their move come on the heels of Meghan’s new project.
The former “Suits” actress will narrate Disney's upcoming Elephant documentary, which is set to start streaming April 3rd on Disney+.
Peep the trailer above.
Meghan can thank her husband who’s always stanning out for her. You’ll recall, the 38-year-old philanthropist https://theybf.com/2020/01/14/megxit-update-several-statements-have-been... ">signed a deal with Disney to do voiceover work for a project that was unnamed at the time. It's reported she will not be paid for the project. She apparently agreed to do the voiceover in exchange for a donation to the charity organization Elephants Without Borders. Quite fitting.
Just in case you missed Harry advocating for his wife, peep the clip below of the Prince chatting with Disney's CEO Bob Iger during The Lion King's London premiere where he mentioned Meghan does voiceovers. Come through king!

With another new chapter in her life, Meghan is looking to stretch her wings and get back to her life pre-royal family.
Now that she and Prince Harry are no longer official senior members of the royal family, she's reportedly working on a few projects. A source revealed to US Weekly that Meghan is currently writing another cookbook, which would be the follow up to her 2018 "Together: Our Community Cookbook."
Not only that, she also could be working on relaunching her former lifestyle blog, The Tig, and potentially developing a kitchenware line. Get it, Meg!
The site reports:
“Meghan has heaps of projects in the works,” the source says. Meghan’s career endeavors aren’t the only thing on her mind. A source tells Us that the California native is interested in welcoming a second child with the 35-year-old British Army vet. Though the insider shares that Meghan and Harry will “start trying in earnest pretty soon,” they still want to focus on adjusting to their new life in Canada and prioritize their 10-month-old son, Archie.
Looks like Meghan is getting back to the things she loves and we're here for it!
