A new video of Gervonta Davis’ domestic violence incident with his daughter’s mother Andretta Smothers has surfaced. And it’s quite disturbing. See it inside…

Last month, lightweight boxing champ Gervonta Davis turned himself to police after a video of him snatching his daughter’s mother Andretta “Dretta” Smothers at a celebrity basketball game went viral. Now, a new video of the incident has surfaced showing him actually swinging at her.

You’ll recall, the WBA lightweight champion was seen violently snatching up his ex-girlfriend by her neck while yelling at her during a celebrity basketball game in Florida. A few men were seen following behind both Gervonta and Dretta as their argument continued in the hallway, but that was all that was seen in the original video.

Now, new footage has surfaced showing what went down after they stepped out into the hallway. In the new clip, it appears the 25-year-old boxer swings at his ex-girlfriend and it looks like she charged back at him after he did it. Folks were able to separate them before Gervonta almost got into it with a man who was recording the incident on his cell phone.

Check it:

After the original video went viral, Gervonta turned himself into the Coral Gables PD. He was arrested and charged with one count of simple battery domestic violence. He was then transferred to Turner Guilford Correctional Center.

In a press release, the cops revealed: "As a result of an ongoing investigation after being notified through social media and the victim, on Feb. 1 2020, the above pictured subject was observed battering his former girlfriend whom have a child together. The below listed individual surrendered himself, to the Coral Gables Police detectives assigned to the case."

After his arrest, Gervonta issued a statement via his IG Stories denying he ever hit her.

"I never once hit her..yea I was aggressive and told her come on… that’s the mother of my child I would never hurt her other than that happy New Years.. January was trassshhhh," he wrote.

However, the police said Dretta suffered injuries to her lip and left jaw in the altercation.

The boxer has a history of assault.

In March 2019, an arrest warrant for one count of misdemeanor assault was issued for him following an altercation at a mall in McLean, Virginia. He got into an argument with a man at an ATM at the Tysons Galleria in suburban Washington, D.C. When police arrived, the lightweight boxer began to get argumentative with them before reportedly shoving an officer.

He was also reportedly arrested for assault in 2017 after he allegedly punched a friend. That charge was later dropped.

Yesterday, Gervonta tweeted he was "done with this bullsh*t":

Let's hope he's referring to being "done" with hitting folks outside of the boxing ring....
