Cam Newton’s ex-Kia Proctor are making her child support demands. She’s requesting $15,000/month for their four kids. More inside…
Earlier this year, we tipped you off about Cam Newton’s relationship status. Six years and four kids later, the NFLer and his longtime girlfriend/mother of his children Kia Proctor called it quits. And the reason for their uncoupling is allegedly due to the fact that the NFL quarterback had a baby, Caesar, with another woman, an IG fitness model named Reîna Shaw:
Kia Proctor put in a request for $15,000/month in child support for their four kids: Chosen (5), Sovereign-Dior (3), Camidas Swain (2) and Cashmere Saint (10 months), according to Bossip. Kia also has a 12-year-old daughter, Shakira, from a previous relationship.
We will say, Kia’s amount of child support seems on the low end. Nothing like that $53,000 Future’s daughter’s mom requested for her one child.
In the paperwork, Kia said she makes minimum wage ($1,276) and detailed the kids’ monthly expenses, which include $3,000 on household and grocery items, $2,966 on child care, $2,640 on her car, $666 on clothing, $300 on grooming and another $416 on entertainment, adding up to about $15,000. She revealed that she hasn't worked at all for the duration of their relationship.
After she called it quits with Cam, she moved back to her home state - Maryland - with their children. Last year, Cam – who’s currently playing for the New England Patriots – sued Kia for joint physical custody and visitation. He also requested a judge declare a concrete amount of child support after voluntarily giving her money to help raise their kids. The NFL baller acknowledged signing the birth certificates of his four children, however, he requested a DNA test be done on all of the kids.
Whew chile. The audacity. Has he asked Reîna Shaw for a paternity test? Hmph.
Responding to his suit, Kia countersued for full physical custody. The reason? She said since she was moving away from Cam and his NFL schedule requires extensive travel, they should work out a joint custody plan. She’s also demanding child support, health benefits, life insurance and she wants him to pay her legal fees.
By the way, Cam reportedly moved Reîna with him to New England after moving her and the baby into his Charlotte condo before he signed with New England.

In January, the 31-year-old quarterback signed a one-year contract with the New England Patriots that reportedly includes a $1.05 million base salary with the opportunity to earn up to $7.5 million. So yeah, he'll be able to afford the $15K she's requesting for the kids.
