Naya Rivera’s sudden death was a major, unexpected shock to her family, friends and fans. As you know, the “Glee” alum died in July after drowning in Lake Piru during a boating trip with her son, Josey (who turned five last week).
Following the 33-year-old’s death, Naya’s ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, 37, and her 25-year-old model sister, Nickayla Rivera, have been spending a lot of time together, understandably. However, their time together has sparked dating rumors. News broke that Ryan and Nickayla moved into a three-bedroom rented home together where they will raise Josey. Now, folks are really starting to speculate if something romantic could be blossoming between them.
Ryan and Nickayla have been spotted together holding hands while shopping at a local Target store and they have been seen moving items into their new home.
“They seem really comfortable together and are obviously helping each other through a very difficult period in both their lives,' said an eye witness who spotted the pair in Target. “They were fooling around and chatting the whole time. They're obviously helping lift each other's spirits.”

Well, both Ryan & Nickayla have caught wind of the “absurd narratives” and have responded. In a 12-minute video posted to his IG TV, Ryan said he decided to move in with Nickayla to take care of his son and that his aunt is the closest thing he has to a mother right now.
”[Josey] asked me if Titi can live with us. ‘I want Titi to live with us forever,’ because she’s now the closest thing that he has to a mom,” he explained. “Because you’re going to need all the help you get as a single parent, trying to build your career, and navigate this disaster with your child. You deal with it every hour of every day for 80-plus days now.”

Nickayla reacted to the rumors, basically saying people don’t know what they’re going through behind-the-scenes, so they shouldn’t judge.
"I'm not concerned with the ways things look because no one can see each agonizing moment we all endure,” she wrote on IG Stories.

People grieve in different ways and this is the best way for them to deal with losing Naya. Some people call it foul, while others understand they are doing what’s best for Naya and Ryan’s son.
As long as he’s good, then there’s really nothing to discuss until they confirm their “dating status.”
