Now that the first 2020 presidential debate dust has settled…let’s discuss! More inside…
To say last night’s first 2020 presidential campaign was a "sh*t show" would be an understatement! It was cringeworthy. It was painful to watch. But again, we’re talking about Trump here.
Political analysts, journalists, the American people, and people around the world have never witnessed a presidential debate like the one that went down in Cleveland last night between Trump, 74, and former Vice President Joe Biden, 77. Folks are calling it the WORST debate in the history of presidential debates! Check it:

Literally, everyone was shocked, confused and even angered once the debate wrapped. Not to mention, moderator Chris Wallace did NOT do a good job at the task at hand. He was letting Trump perform like the dictator he is, so what was the point of a debate with no rules? Trump reportedly interrupted Biden at LEAST 73 times during the debate.
However, Trump remained mum when asked about condemning White Supremacy. Are you shocked? We sure aren’t.
When asked directly to condemn the Proud Boys hate group, Trump does the complete opposite. He told the Proud Boys to "stand back and stand by,” refusing to condemn the hate group, before turning his attention to Antifa. Trump kept acting like he didn't hear the question.
"Proud Boys -- stand back and stand by,” Trump said during the debate. “But I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what. Somebody's got to do something about Antifa and the left because this is not a right wing problem."
Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., claims he may have "misspoke."

Tuh.
Not only did he refuse to denounce White Supremacy, but he also incited conflict at the polls on election days.
As expected, social media was lit up with reactions to the debate and the overall nonsense of it all. Here are just some reactions to last night’s insane debate:
City Girls rapper JT sparked an important discussion about the lack of voting rights for felons who have served their time:
As the debate was happening, fact checkers from almost every fact checking organization or fact checking arm were checking Trump and Biden. It was ruled each statement Trump made about absentee/mail in voting was false. Also the overwhelming majority of each "point" - and we use that term loosely - that he made was mostly, if not all, false. People like the Portland Sheriff that Trump claimed supports him are also speaking out to state they have never supported him and never will.

As for upcoming presidential debates...just no. Trump was being and doing everything America has allowed him to be and do for the last four years. Why do people keep expecting him to be anything other than the disgusting person he is? That's what's more frustrating than anything else.
Sadly, it seems it will only get worse. Nothing will come of these debates other than his racist, sexist and incompetent base getting more emboldened because they are nothing of value themselves. They feel emboldened by another racist, white supremacist who has no intelligence, who is exerting power he doesn't actually have.
The next presidential debate is set to go down October 15th.
Needless to say, make sure you're registered to VOTE and make sure you get to the polls in November, if not BEFORE!
