Lamar Odom is a single man again, according to his now-ex fiancée.
Sabrina Parr hopped on social media to announce she called off their engagement with claims that LO could have slipped back to his old, dangerous ways. And she made the announcement just days before he celebrates his 41st birthday tomorrow (Nov 6th). Yikes!
"Y'all know I'm honest and transparent so I have to be the first to let you guys know that I am no longer engaged to Lamar," Sabrina shared on her IG Stories Wednesday night.
"This has been a difficult decision for me to make but it is the best for myself and my children."
The fitness guru then went on to hint that he needs “help” with some issues he’s battling.
"Lamar has some things that he alone needs to work through," she continued. "I love him dearly but I am no longer able to be by his side while he seeks the help he so desperately needs. I wish him all the best and I am asking that you pray for everyone involved," she said.
Sabrina didn’t specify exactly what issues he needs to work on, but it sounds like he could have possibly relapsed. It’s no secret the former Lakers baller has a history of drug and alcohol abuse. As you know, he almost died from an overdose inside of a brothel in October 2015 when he was married to Kloe Kardashian.
It's also no secret that Lamar's kids were at odds with Sabrina about the timing of their relationship. They also didn't believe - about a year ago - Sabrina was with him for the right reasons.
In another IG post, Sabrina shared a meme about knowing when to walk away from toxic situations.
Last November, Lamar popped the question to Sabrina during a dinner with NeNe Leakes in Miami after confirming their relationship status months earlier. Two months ago, they were all smiles at their engagement party. Now, they’re over. Sabrina has scrubbed almost all pictures of Lamar from her IG account.
If you haven’t heard, Lamar’s ex/kids’ mother Liza Morales will be starring on the upcoming season of “Basketball Wives.” Looks like she’ll have more to share with viewers when the reality series airs.
Prayers up that Lamar Odom gets that help he needs, IF what Sabrina is saying is true.
