Azealia Banks couldn’t let 2020 wrap up without causing some drama on social media. It wouldn’t be her if she didn’t, right?
This time, she’s poppin’ off about FKA Twigs filing a sexual assault lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend Shia LaBeouf. Once news about FKA’s lawsuit hit the Internet, AB hopped on Instagram Stories to fire shots at FKA for attempting a money grab from the Transformers star.
"I'm howling OMG Twigs is reaching for the coin,” she captioned a screenshot of an article about the lawsuit.
The dragging continued in a few audio messages:

"This is so whack and cheesy. That's so corny," AB said.
"I knew you was a corny b*tch," she said about FKA as she shared why she doesn't f*ck with her. The "212" rapper ranted about FKA doing a romantic scene with a young boy in a movie called Honey Boy. She said had the gender roles been reversed, folks would be up in arms about it.
As for the lawsuit...
The singer/actress filed a lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend (who knew?) with accusations that he physically abused her during their relationship, alleging she endured "relentless abuse."
FKA (real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett) alleged he choked her and threw her against a car on Valentine's Day 2019. Not only that, she accused her ex-boyfriend of knowingly giving her a sexually transmitted disease. She also accused the 34-year-old actor of choking her in the middle of the night.
"Shia LaBeouf hurts women. He uses them. He abuses them, both physically and mentally. He is dangerous. For too long, LaBeouf has sought to excuse his reprehensible actions as the eccentricities of a free-thinking 'artist,'" she wrote in the lawsuit.
Another woman has also come forward with abuse allegations against Shia:
Karolyn Pho, a stylist who also had a relationship with LaBeouf, described alarming experiences with the actor to The Times, including some allegations outlined in the lawsuit.
In 2012 at a New York City hotel, the filing claims, the actor "held her down by her arms, causing intense pain and leaving multiple bruises." Then he head-butted Pho, causing her to bleed, it alleges.
Shia has had his fair share of run-ins with the law and public bad behavior. We're not sure if FKA dated him amid all of that drama happening last year or before it, especially since she was publicly dating Robert Pattinson last year. Also...
FKA Twigs hopped on IG and said it has been difficult to process that she was involved in an abusive relationship.
"my second worst nightmare is being forced to share with the world that i am a survivor of domestic violence," she said. "my first worst nightmare is not telling anyone and knowing that i could have helped even just one person by sharing my story."
Glad she got out before it was too late.
