It’s officially official! Congress affirms President-elect Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory after MAGA thugs stormed the U.S. Capitol to delay the proceedings. Nice try. More inside…
To say yesterday was an interesting day would be an understatement. But despite that violent failed coup attempt at the U.S. Capitol, Congress finished what they started so the nation can accept its next commander-in-chief.
Around 4AM this morning, Congress certified President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris’ victory after a long day and night of chaos, violence, objections and disorder. Trump supporters tried to stop the process of affirming our new president after Trump inspired them to do so, but failed.
Biden-Harris secured 306 electoral votes, while Trump-Pence scooped up 232 electoral votes. It takes 270 electoral votes to win the presidency. It was first announced by Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar. Right after, VP Mike Pence repeated the totals.

Pence also condemned the domestic terrorists:
"To those who wreaked havoc in our Capitol today, you did not win," Vice President Pence said once lawmakers reconvened after many spent hours in lockdown. "Violence never wins. Freedom wins, and this is still the people's house."
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham (one of Trump’s closest allies) finally admitted Biden was “lawfully” elected and told his colleagues enough with the election fraud allegations.
”Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are lawfully elected and will become president and vice president of the United States on Jan. 20."

Trump finally vowed an “orderly transition” of power.
...fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted. While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again!”

Following hours of mayhem and pandemonium, the U.S. Capitol was finally secured. And four people are dead because of it, including one woman who was shot. Where was the National Guard? What took SO LONG for them to touch down? What about the snipers on top of the Capitol? What were they doing?
i cannot believe they got into the building this is insane pic.twitter.com/u9rn2CAQ3u

Hundreds of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol where they fought with Capitol police, trashed offices, stole things, scaled the walls, and sprayed fire extinguishers as lawmakers took cover by hiding and barricading themselves in offices.

Forever president Barack Obama addressed the #MAGA mob on social media:
As the #MAGA mob wreaked havoc on the Capitol, Trump looked on from his office as it went down. And he took his sweet time to condemn the domestic terrorists:
Then, he delivered a delusional-ridden statement where he told his base to “go home in peace.”.He pointed out the evil OTHERS are doing and told them he loves them and understands their frustration of feeling like the election was “stolen from them”. There is and never was any factual evidence if a stolen election.

According to White House correspondent April Ryan, a group of angered Congress members held a secret meeting in a disclosed location about having Trump removed via the 25th amendment.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed it happens.
We have to ask....
