”Power” star Naturi Naughton is kicking off 2021 with an engagement! As of now, her fiancé is a mystery man as she has not revealed his identity. However, the 36-year-old actress did dish that her “Power” co-star Omari Hardwick introduced her to him.
"I never imagined that one random night in [New York] would change my life so much," Naturi told ESSENSE. "I had no idea I was about to meet the best teammate ever. Omari Hardwick and I were recording a song together and Omari was like, 'Oh, you gotta meet my people.' On that night, I met this kind, handsome, southern gentleman who would love me like I've never been loved."
"From that point on, we talked every day, quietly dated and fell in love," she continued. "Thank you, TV hubby, for introducing me to my future hubby!"

Two days before Christmas, Naturi’s man got on one knee to request her hand in marriage.
On social media, the mother-of-one showed off her engagement ring while expressing how excited she was to be marrying her “best friend.”
“Yup! I get to marry my best friend!,” she captioned.
”I SAID YESSS..to a man with a PLAN!! Thank you #fiancé for making me and my #BabyZuri feel like princesses everyday of the year! I thought I was just going to @inviteonly.studio to do a #Holidayphotoshoot and it turned into my #Engagement shoot w/a splash of @disney,” she wrote in the caption of her engagement photoshoot flicks.
And get this! Her new man planned the photoshoot complete with Disney characters!
"This amazing man of mine planned this whole photo shoot, complete with my glam team and stylist might I add, for me and my daughter with matching princess dresses. All I had to do was show up!" she said. "We are all just taking pictures as normal, then the music changes to a song called 'Looking For Love' by Mul-Ty. Out of nowhere I see Mickey, Minnie, and the whole Disney crew walk in, and then I see my parents and one of my best friends walk in behind them — all wearing their masks. I was in shock! When I turned around, my now-fiancé was down on one knee!"
Naturi’s mystery man asked for her hand in marriage with a Neil Lane diamond. Not only that, he gifted Naturi’s 3-year-old daughter Zuri a ring with a ruby (her birthstone) as well.
"My fiancé said that his commitment to me is also a lifetime commitment to her," Naughton told the magazine. "Zuri admired her ring, then said, 'Oh, for me?' She was so happy."
"It makes me happy that they have a great bond as well," she added. "Any man that I would choose would have to know that Zuri and I are a package deal!"
Naturi and her ex – who she referred to as Ben – welcomed baby Zuri in July 2017. Shortly after, they called it quits. There were rumors that she was secretly dating her "Power" co-star Sinqua Walls as they used to get extra flirty with one another on social media in 2019. It's unclear if they were actually dating.
Now, she’s receiving all the blessings she deserves. Congrats!
