2021 PCAs: Cardi B Honors Halley Berry With People’s ICON Award, H.E.R. & Garcelle Get Pretty In Pink, Porsha Williams, Leslie Jones & More

The people have spoken! Go inside this year’s People’s Choice Awards where Cardi B presents Halle Berry with the People’s ICON Award, H.E.R. and Garcelle Beauvais get pretty in pink, Porsha Williams serves up an all-black slay, and Leslie Jones kept it fun and flirty in bold colors…

The Halle Berry x Cardi B mashup is the collaboration that keeps on giving.

After the release of their all-female Hop Hop BRUISED soundtrack, Cardi B took center stage to honor Halle Berry with a prestigious award. Last night, the 2021 People’s Choice Awards, hosted by actor/comedian Kenan Thompson, went down live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA where Cardi - styled in SOL BY IRENA SOPRANO - saluted the veteran actress with the People’s Icon Award.

”To have Cardi B present you with an ICON Award, like, I don’t think of a moment that could be bigger in my life. Thank you, Cardi,” Halle said during her acceptance speech.

”The only reason I have been here for 30 years, still working and doing what I love on my own terms, redefining myself decade after decade is because of all of you. Every single one of you. You allow me to be myself,” she said.

The award winning actress praised her kids - 13-year-old Nahla (whom she shares with former model Gabriel Aubry) and 8-year-old Maceo (whom she shares with Olivier Martinez) - for allowing her to do what she loves.

”My two little kids, they have to lose so much time with their mommy because I get to go work and do what I love, so thank you Nahla, thank you Maceo. I hope you find something in life that you can love and you can do with as much vigor and as much zest as I do what I do. I love you guys," she said.

Peep her acceptance speech and watch her have a fan girl moment with Bardi below:

Cardi and Halle made Hollywood history after the Grammy Award winning rapper and the Oscar winning actress joined forces to executive produced the soundtrack for Halle's Netflix movie BRUISED - where Halle also makes her directorial debut. The soundtrack features tracks from all female Hip Hop artists, including Cardi. It's the first time there has been an all-female film score, so that's HERstory!

Even after presenting Halle with her award, Cardi was still in awe of the veteran actress:

Back on the carpet....

Grammy & Oscar winning singer H.E.R. hit the stage to pay tribute to late iconic singer Marvin Gaye with a rendition of his classic hit “What’s Going On” on the track’s 50th anniversary.
