After rumors and suspicions were floating around for months, it's now been confirmed that NFL baller Sterling Shepard and model Chanel Iman have split. Deets on the divorce filing inside!
They were def the cutest little family, but it seems all that glittered wasn't gold behind closed doors....as we all know it usually isn't.
New York Giants baller Sterling Shepard reportedly filed divorce papers on his supermodel wife on June 7th, 2021. The streets are just finding out about the official paperwork amid plenty of speculation that the couple had split.
They both posted each other on their social media pages often, and 31-year-old Chanel was at pretty much every home game of 28-year-old Sterling's or posting Stories of her and the babies watching daddy ball out on tv. Recently, though, all of that seemed to have ceased.
The couple hit seemingly every event together since their 2018 marriage - charity galas, games, festivals, baecays and more. They had their first daughter, Cali, months after they wed. And they welcomed their second, Cassie, in December 2019.
The two bought a new home together around the time their second baby girl was born. The fam often posted cute TikTok videos together during the pandemic, but in the last several months, they seemingly stopped being attached at the hip and stopped sharing their family life with fans.
TMZ reports today that Sterling actually filed divorce papers this past June.
No word on what caused the split ... but we've confirmed the New York Giants star filed docs on June 7, 2021 to officially kickstart the process of ending their marriage.
The former couple first met at Victor Cruz's 30th birthday party back in 2016 ... and started dating shortly after.
They were practically inseparable ... going on lavish vacations in paradise with friends like Saquon Barkley and Baker Mayfield and their significant others.
Neither have directly addressed the split as of yet.
