Balenciaga Buddies! Word on the curb is that Kanye West and Cardi B will link up at a Balenciaga store in Miami to shoot a new music video. Meanwhile, his new boo Julia Fox appears on his DONDA Creative Instagram account. Deets inside….
One thing Kanye West and Cardi B have in common is their love for luxury fashion house Balenciaga.
It’s Ye’s favorite brand and Bardi was chosen to be the face of luxe brand in 2020, so it’s not a total surprise the two came together for a high fashion link up. Also, the Balenciaga mama's hubby, Offset, hit the runway for the Spring/Summer 2022 Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week a few months ago.
A source told Page Six the Grammy winning artists are set to film a music video at the Balenciaga store in Miami’s Design District.
Last week, The DONDA rapper shared news he partnered with Balenciaga's designer, Demna, on “Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga.”
Page Six reports:
“This first of its kind launch sees Ye’s peerless vision bring together the most influential designer of his generation, Demna, with iconic American brand, Gap,” reads the press release.
“Yeezy Gap engineered by Balenciaga continues Ye’s commitment to bringing creativity to the forefront and delivering his vision of utilitarian design for all.”
West and Gvasalia have been close friends for years, but have ramped up their collaborations as of late, with the designer serving as creative influence on many of the rapper’s recent musical and visual projects.

To kick off the new year, Ye was out in Miami gallivanting with his new actress BAE Julia Fox. He even dressed her up in Balenciaga threads for a COUPLES magazine shoot that gave very much Kim K 2.0 vibes.
After their date night, Ye had his team post up flicks of Julia on his DONDA Creative official Instagram account:
A few of Julia’s pictures are in one of the highlights on the DONDA Creative IG (with her picture as the cover), following several flicks of Ye’s estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, who is currently dating comedian Pete Davidson, posted weeks ago.
“It’s a desperate play for attention. There’s no other explanation when he chooses … [Fox] to go public with,” a source told Page Six. The source said he's desperately trying to get under Kim's skin with this new "relationship." Womp.
