India Royale Reacts To Backlash After Fiancé Lil Durk Reveals Her ‘Low Body Count’ Was A Reason He Proposed

After Lil Durk revealed India Royale’s “low body count” was a reason he decided to propose, the Internet erupted in responses, mainly aimed at India. Well, she has a response for those who have an issue with what her fiancé said. Here’s what she said…

 

Lil Durk and India Royale are one of Hip Hop’s favorite couples as they are often featured on “relationship goals” memes and praised in their IG comments about their public display of affection. The Chicago rapper often raps about her in his songs and even has several songs with her name in the title. When it comes to Durk & India, fans don’t question their love for one another.

 

 

After four years of dating and a daughter (Willow Banks), Durk popped the question to India during a hometown performance at Chicago's United Center in December 2021. The special moment went viral as fans showered them with congratulatory messages online and in the audience.

 

 

During an interview on the Million Dollar Worth of Game podcast, the “Still Trappin’” rapper said when he met India, he was at his lower point and she helped motivate him to level up. He mentioned when they first started dating he didn’t even have furniture in his home and she made him get some if he wanted her to stay there. He said she gave him “$2 million worth of game.” Besides her holding him down, he shared what one thing that really made him fall for her.

”I ain’t gone lie. I’m petty as hell. If you f**** a lot of n***** and all that, I ain’t gone wife you,” the father-of-six said. Durk and India share a daughter. He has five other children with four other women.

“Everything about her like being real, not cheating,” he said. “She ain’t been passed around. It was like her body count. That’s what really did it.”

Oh. Ok.

The Internet chimed in with their response to Durk’s revelation and some weren’t impressed.

 

 

”Imagine ur fiancé being asked what he love about u the first thing he brings up is ur body count etc,not your personality,not your loyalty, not your sacrifices to him but your past relations hearing this frm my man would not turn me on at all esp when his past is opposite,” one person tweeted.

 

Well, India caught wind of the backlash and responded:

”Idgaf what people think about my fiancé. That’s why he mine, get you one,” she tweeted.

”Exactly mfs making whole threads like they was ever an option, hush,” a fan tweeted.

”Exactly! Whole think pieces,” India responded.

“Good thing he my man,” India responded.

The double standard is quite prevalent, but if she likes it, that's her business.
