”Power” star Naturi Naughton is whole WIFE now!
Over the weekend, the bomb actress said “I Do” to the love her life Xaiver “Two” Lewis in a purple and pink themed nuptials with family and friends, including a few familiar faces.
Naturi’s “Power” co-stars Lala Anthony and Omari Hardwick were in attendance to celebrate with their co-worker-turned-family member as they’ve all grown to love one another outside of the show. In fact, Omari introduced Naturi to her husband, who is a prominent figure in the music industry. At first, Omari connected them on a musical level, but it blossomed into Black Love.
Their connection is a true story of love.
”Two” days before Christmas, the “Power Book II: Ghost” star’s fiancé popped the question December 2021! The mom/actress made the announcement on her Instagram account, however, she did not reveal her fiancé's identity.
A few months later, she “revealed” him to the world on her own terms in a ESSENCE magazine spread where she opened up about why she decided to keep her relationship low-key.
“For me it was important to be cautious about sharing it, especially at the beginning of our engagement, so we could focus on that bonding time,” she said. “Sometimes in the industry people put their opinions on things and make you feel like you need their opinion, and I don’t.”
The beginning of their dating experience was a semi-challenge for Naturi, but in a good way. He had a one-year rule where he didn’t want to involve anything sexual while getting to know her so he could get to know her on a deeper level before officially "putting a label on it."
After the one-year mark, Two knew she was the one, so he popped the question during the holidays last year. He also involved Naturi’s 4-year-old daughter, Zuri, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend, Ben.
Now, they’re married!
During the reception, LaLa and Naturi shared a cute moment after La - who filed for divorce from NBA star Carmelo Anthony last summer - caught her bouquet, beating out the rest of the bachelorettes. Check it out below:
