Ari Lennox, the soulful R&B singer and songwriter, is manifesting her dreams by auditioning for the coveted role of Tiana in the upcoming live-action remake of Disney's The Princess and the Frog. As a self-proclaimed fan of the original movie, the "Shea Butter Baby" singer threw her hat into the ring for the chance to audition for the role of Tiana. She recently took to Twitter, urging Disney to give her the opportunity to showcase her talent in person. The 31-year-old singer shared a video of herself covering "Almost There," a song originally performed by Tiana actress Anika Noni Rose, to prove she has the vocal range and charisma to bring the character to life.
