Cardi B copped an award during the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards for her "Money" visuals, then she hit the party scene. More inside...
Cardi B skipped the red carpet this year for the MTV Video Music Awards, but chick was def in the building for the awards ceremony.
The "Money" rapper flexed in a hip hugging burgundy Deviant La Vie gown, YSL earrings and cuffs and studded Christian Louboutin sandals, styled by Kollin Carter. Her hair and makeup were on point and brought her whole look together.
It was a good night for Big Bardi as she got the opportunity to present Missy Elliott with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and she even copped an award of her own. She nabbed the Best Hip Hop Video award for "Money."
“Since this is the Video Music Awards and everything, I really want to thank my music video team — first Jora Frantzis — that’s the director. She gotta hear outta my mouth, ‘I look ugly. Edit my stomach, edit my butt. Smooth my cellulite out,'” the NYC raptress said during her acceptance speech.
“And I wanna thank my glam team, Erika, Tokyo. Thank y’all so much. Without y’all, my music videos wouldn’t look like this. Thank you Jesus, thank you Jesus!”
