Storm Reid’s character on “Euphoria” is about to get more shine in the upcoming season. Meanwhile, “Greenleaf” starlet Lovie Simone just wrapped up filming Blumhouse’s The Craft remake. Deets on these two FAB actresses inside…
"Euphoria" fans can expect to see more Gia Bennett next season.
Storm Reid plays the supportive little sister of Rue Bennett (played by Zendaya), who's struggling with a drug addiction. While she got a good amount of screen time last season, her character will get more developed in the upcoming 2nd season. She confirmed the news during an interview with Collider, saying:
“Yes! Yes. Gia’s becoming her own person and she’s getting her own storyline which is very exciting, so I’m excited to start that very soon," the 16-year-old actress said.
"Euphoria" was a huge hit for HBO when it debuted last summer. No word yet when Season 2 will arrive. If the new season is on the same timeline as last season, then fans can expect it to drop this summer.
Storm Reid is super busy these days. She's starring in the upcoming thriller, The Invisible Man, and has been making promo rounds before its debut. This week, she appeared on daytime television to chop it up with the ladies on "The View":
The Wrinkle In Time star is also currently filming The Suicide Squad, which is expected to drop next year.

As for another bomb YBF chick...
"Greenleaf" actress Lovie Simone is booked and busy as well. She's the lead star in Blumhouse's remake of cult classic, The Craft, and recently wrapped up filming. The horror flick also stars Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Zoey Luna, Michelle Monaghan and David Duchovny.
Deadline has the deets:
The original, led by Robin Tunney, Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, Christine Taylor, and Rachel True, followed a newcomer at a Catholic prep high school who falls in with a trio of outcast teenage girls who practice witchcraft, and wage curses against those who tick them off.
Blumhouse brass Jason Blum is producing the project along with Oscar-winning Gladiator producer Douglas Wick, who also produced the first film, and Lucy Fisher for Red Wagon Entertainment. Lister-Jones penned the screenplay and will serve as an executive producer with Andrew Fleming, the director and co-writer of the original, Lucas Wiesendanger from Red Wagon, Natalia Anderson, Daniel Bekerman, as well as Couper Samuelson, Jeanette Volturno and Bea Sequeira from Blumhouse.
Lovie wowed everyone at the Sundance Film Festival with her performance in Tayarisha Poe’s boarding school drama, Selah & the Spades, which was picked up by Amazon Studios. The film premieres on the streaming service Apil 17th. The film is also reportedly being developed into a series. Nice!
