Rapper Zoey Dollaz is stable condition after he was shot multiple times on his way to a strip club in Miami. Details, plus Fabolous’ reaction inside…
2020 hasn’t been a good year for rappers. At all. Outside of not being able to travel and do shows, rappers are getting shot like crazy.
Rapper Zoey Dollaz – who signed to Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers Records last month - was badly injured in a shooting after leaving a party in Miami. He was making his way to Miami’s Booby Trap strip club when he was shot while driving on the Julia Tuttle Causeway, according to authorities.
The 30-year-old rapper (real name is Elvis Milford) was shot just after midnight as he drove a black Mercedes sedan westbound on I-195 from Alton Road. According to Florida Highway Patrol, a silver SUV pulled up alongside the car Zoey was driving and someone fired multiple gunshots, hitting the rapper in the left leg several times. A female passenger was also injured.
After the shooting, Zoey was able to turn around and head back to Miami Beach where they flagged down an officer on 41st Street for help.
"The victim stated he was coming from a private party in Miami Beach but did not have any altercations prior to the shooting incident," FHP said in a statement.
“To see this is like crazy,” said Donny “Dizzy” Flores, who said he is a friend of the rapper’s and is on his management team.
TMZ reported the Haitian-American was leaving Teyana Taylor’s 30th birthday party.
“He was like ‘I’m going to go to Wynwood, get something to eat’ or whatever and meet up,” Flores said. “They pulled up to the car, and shot it up. He wasn’t fighting with nobody. He’s not that type of guy he always peace, looking out for everyone. He’s not on that type of stuff. He’s a good kid.”
“He’s always doing a lot of stuff for Haiti,” Flores said. “He went to Haiti the other day trying to do a lot of stuff. He told me he wants to run for president one day in Haiti.”
When Fabolous heard about Zoey being shot, he shared a few IG Stories about how being a rapper has become the most dangerous job:
Brooklyn rapper Fivio Foreign posted something similar after the shooting:
Rapper are da most targeted people on planet earth.. Target by police, by otha Rappers, by Media, By Civilians & everybody eles dat feel like we shuddnt have all da things we have

At the start of November, several rappers were either murdered or shot. We do hope folks make decisions on how they move based on this notion and the fact we're still in a pandemic, now that everything is being made VERY clear.
Chicago rapper King Von was murdered on Nov. 6th during an altercation with rapper Quando Rondo and his homies in Atlanta. Dallas rapper Mo3 was murdered on Nov. 11th in broad daylight on the freeway in Oak Cliff, Texas. Baton Rouge rapper Boosie Badazz was shot in the leg on his 38th birthday (Nov. 14th) in Dallas, TX. New York rapper Benny The Butcher was shot during a robbery attempt outside of a store in Houston, TX on Nov. 16th.
Ish is out of hand! Prayers to everyone affected.
